US Government (Period 2)

This course is the culmination of the civics literacy strand of the State of California Framework and is aligned with State Standards. The purpose is to prepare students to vote, to reflect on the responsibilities of citizenship, to participate in activities both for their own individual benefit as well as the community at large. It is intended that this course offer an opportunity for students to make reasoned decisions of a political nature. All Seniors must pass this class in order to graduate from Culver City High School.
