NCAA Eligibility

Parents, if your daughter or son has expressed interest in playing sports at the collegiate level, they must meet NCAA eligibility requirements. To help you with this process, one of our counselors can meet with your daughter or son to go over all of the requirements and guide them on how to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center.

NCAA Eligibility Information Night for 11th Grade Student-Athletes

The purpose of this event is to inform student-athletes and parents on what is needed to be NCAA eligible for Division I and Division II. It will be held in the MPR from 6pm - 7:30pm on May 31, 2018. To make this night most beneficial, student-athletes will work on an individualized plan to meet NCAA Eligibility requirements. Specific details will be sent out to those students who complete the form.

2018 Fall Sport Tryouts, Camps and Practices


Athletes may try out during Summer Workout which will begin June 19, 2018 to June 28, 2018. Cross Country

While there are no tryouts for Cross Country, students may join the team by coming to the summer practices which begin on June 18 , 2018 from 9am-10:30 am at Lindberg Park.  Practices will be held each week,Monday-Friday from 9am-10:30 am at Lindberg Park. Additional evening practices for those who have conflicts will most likely be held Monday –Friday from 6pm-7:30 pm at Lindberg park.Contact- Contact- Coach Tom Fritzius


Girls Tennis

Incoming 9th graders interested in playing high school tennis must have prior experience or training.  There is very limited space available for team practices. Culver City High School & Middle School have streamlined their athletic clearance process.  CCHS & CCMS athletes must be cleared through  PARENTS create an account for this website to create clearances for each of their children.  (Please do not use student’s CCUSD email addresses for account set up)

If you do not have a copy of a physical exam taken within the last year, physical exam forms are to be printed from the site or from the school athletic website or picked up at the school and filled out by a physician.  Upload physical exam forms to or turn them in to the school offices.  Should you have any questions, please contact Susan Osborne 310-842-4200 ext. 3328 or via email at

Sports Physical Spots Open on campus

When: Friday, Sept 7, 2018
Where: Sandy Segal Youth Health Center
Anyone interested in scheduling a sports physical on that day should contact the Venice Family Clinic call center at 310-392-8636 and request an appointment at the Sandy Segal Youth Health Center. Afternoon appointments now available. 

On the day of the physical exam, students will need to bring:
  • $25 fee (cash only)
  • the sports physical exam page, and
  • the SSYHC consent form signed by their parent
