College Counselor

As a returning Centaur from the Class of 1991, I must say, that it has been a pleasure to work and continue to contribute to the community that I was born and raised in. I attended Santa Monica College, shortly after graduating from Culver High, where I earned an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Studies. I then transferred to UCLA and graduated in 1997, with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology. Upon graduating from UCLA, I became employed at Culver City High School in September of 1997 as the College and Career Center Coordinator. While coordinating the CCC, I began my graduate course work at Loyola Marymount University and completed my Masters Degree in Counseling. I graduated in 1999 from LMU and in September of 1999, I became the first College Counselor at Culver High.  I also continue to work at Santa Monica College, as a College Counselor in their Transfer Center.

It has been a wonderful journey thus far, and I look forward to continuing to expand the services offered in the College and Career Center.

I am a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC).
