The Academy of Visual and Performing Arts is a four-year program that incorporates studies in Visual Arts, Film & Video Production, Theatre, Dance, and Music. Students take classes after school during 7th period, some for college credit. The courses, combined with a production schedule, provide a balance between hands-on and academic training. Students get a chance to practice their craft alongside motivated and talented peers and qualified professional teachers, designers, directors, actors, musicians and artists.
