I'm so excited to be returning to the CCHS Math Department for my 16th year of teaching! This year, I am teaching Honors Geometry and Algebra 2, but I have taught everything from Pre-Algebra all the way through AP Calculus. In my class, students will learn to think creatively as we work together to solve problems and make sense of the world around us. Students will be most successful if they come to class with an open mind, if they are curious and take risks, if they understand that mistakes are part of the learning process, and if they ask questions when something doesn't make sense. I truly believe that we never stop learning and growing, and I will be demonstrating that this year as I learn more about online teaching and learning.
Outside of school, I enjoy coaching gymnastics and track, photography, music and theater (especially musical theater!), playing board games and reading. My husband and I have a daughter, Emilia, a dog named Samson, and a cat named Orion.
I look forward to getting to know all of you mathematicians!
