Hello there! I am thrilled to start year four of being a Centaur! I am entering my 15th year of teaching high school English; as a self-professed book nerd, I am so excited to continue working with AP English Literature students and 10th grade superstars. As a UCLA graduate, I have indoctrinated my two small sons into Bruin love, but will support all students with whatever post-high school path they choose. Unless that path is USC. (Mostly) just kidding. I am looking forward to a wonderful year at CCHS!
All work for AP English Literature & English 10 is on the CANVAS learning management system.
DIRECTIONS FOR STUDENTS:
- Go to CANVAS (https://culver.instructure.com/)
- You will now see this screen: 1) Click on Log in with Google
- Click "Log in with Google"
- Use your [email protected] email address
- Password: use your Student ID number for initial login with an option to change in "Settings"(If your password is not working, click "Forgot Password?" and a password reset will be sent to your [email protected] email address.)
- Sign in with your Gmail
- Then click "Allow"
For Parents Accounts: There are three ways you can get in (You will need your child’s CCUSD student email address and ID#)
1)Through the CCSUD Canvas Parent Website
- Login with your email used in Aeries
- Username: your email used in Aeries
- Password:Your child’s Student ID #
- This will take your to your Canvas Dashboard.
2) Canvas Parent App (iTunes): Download Here
You will need to create an account and then link to your child's Canvas classes through their CCUSD Gmail and Password (This account that you create is different from the one that was created for you on the Canvas Website)
3) Canvas Parent App (Google Play): Download Here
