What's Keeping Our Class Positive?
Online Learning for Week of Mar. 17-20
Hello parents and students,
Thank you for your patience and flexibility in this unprecedented time of school dismissal. Culver City High School and the Math Department are dedicated to making sure that during this time of great uncertainty that students are able to continue with their learning remotely with the least amount of disruption to their education as possible.
I will be posting lessons, assignments, and helpful links on this webpage so that students are able to continue to receive lessons, practice assignments, etc., as we progress through this school dismissal. Please check the site on school days frequently as I will be posting Tuesday through Friday of this week if necessary. My “office hours” are from 9-11am and 1-3pm: it will be during these office hours that I will be able to communicate with students through email most efficiently and quickly. However, please feel free to email me at any time with clarifications about the lessons, questions on the homework, etc., and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can. If you do not have a computer or internet access at home, please call the front office to arrange for a Chromebook. Local internet companies are offering free internet to families who otherwise cannot afford service; please call your local provider for information.
The assessments planned for this week will be postponed until after Spring Break. If the school dismissal continues on after Spring Break, then assessments may have to be administered and students will be responsible for completing the assigned assessments. If that is the case, please check the website regularly for more info about how the exams will be administered.
Stay healthy!
Ms. Smith
