Assignment

Good Morning,
First, take a deep breath.  All is good!
I just received word from the College Board that they have plans in place for offering the AP Exam this year.  I don't have all the details in terms of how it will be administered, however, the course will only cover periods 1-3.  So that's the beginning of the course through 1914.

So what does that mean for you, me, and all that stuff I assigned to you for over spring break?
Put a hold on everything.  Yes, even the Rise of Fascism video (though it can't hurt to finish that up).  That means, you can hold off on Chapters 27, 28, 29,and 30 (I'll figure out something related to these chapters for after the exam).
You don't need to do the Russian Rev/WWI/WWII DBQ.
I will be revising our game plan over the weekend and send out an email on Monday.  I know, I know, you're on break, but of course I don't want you doing anything unnecessary.
Essentially we will spend the month before the exam reviewing.
So, look out for Monday's email.
Also, I know many of you belong to some APEH CCHS group test/snapchat/ or whatever it is.  Please get the word out to everyone. I'd really appreciate it.

If you need to get a hold of my, from this point forward, email me at [email protected].  I am putting my school email address on vacation mode.
Please check in with me if you have any concerns, questions, or just want to say hi and let me know how you are doing with all this mentally.
Even though it is spring break, I am here for you.
 Ms. Snyder

Assignment

Email message sent out 9:30am Wednesday.
Good Morning,I just wanted to do a quick check-in and see how everyone is doing?  Obviously we are all experiencing something unprecedented so I'm not going to inundate you with live hangouts.  I know you have a lot of work for my class in terms of reading and starting your reviews so there is where I want you to focus. There are a few videos I'm going to want you watch over the next few days so look for future emails and assignment posts. If you still need a chromebook the library is making them available from 10:30-12 today.  If you don't have a computer at home, I really recommend you take advantage of this opportunity.  Plus, there are many local wireless companies offering free internet service for you to do your classwork.  If you need help find these resources let me know.  Emails should have gone home to your parents/guardians with information about this as well. You are always more than welcome to email me any questions or concerns.  I'm not going anywhere over the next 2.5 weeks.  I have to admit I've been in my pajamas since Monday afternoon ;-)So, as the Brits would say, "Stay Calm, Carry On...and Wash your hands".
All my best to you,Ms. Snyder

Hope everyone is doing well.  Please go to Google Classroom to complete the Russian Revolution Assignment.
