For today's class please complete the following assignments:
  1. Four I’s of Oppression - Read (in your groups or with a partner) and take notes in your notebook about the main points of the 4 I's of Oppression. The reading is attached. 
  1. Comprehension and Connection Questions - Answer questions in complete and thoughtful sentences in your notebook under your notes from the reading.
    1. Think about everything that you know about the system of American slavery. Make specific connections to slavery and each of the 4 I's of oppression. 
    2. What do you know about resistance to the system of enslavement? Have a conversation with your group and capture anything that you know about resistance and revolt in bullet points. Try to come up with at least 5 ideas or historical facts to write in your notebook.
