Here is the practice.  Remember to look at old posts for youtube videos of how to do some problems if you need some additional help.  Study Hard!
 
The next two days we will review what non-routine problems are like for CC3.

1.  Added the examples of how to use the law of cosines and also tried to show where common mistakes might happen in the Algebraic steps.  
 
2.  Also posted is the homework with detailed answers and thought process.
 
3.  Lastly here are two videos to help you work with the Law of Cosines.

I have added more detail notes of the proof of the law of cosines but you don't need to know it for the test. 
 
Today we practiced using the law of cosines to get us unstuck and help us get a complete fraction so we can use the Law of Sines for the rest of the problem.
 
For the next couple of days we will be reviewing for the CC3 Mastery Check and then the finals

So here we are in the second to last topic for CC3.  Law of sines will allow us to find missing sides and angles for non-right triangles.  Its not perfect but its better than nothing!
 
Notes, homework and the error analysis to your quick check on CC3 is posted here.  You had the last two days in class to work on this so make sure its pretty solid because next week we start the last part of CC3, Law of Cosines.  
 
If you use the videos remember we are not going to learn the ambiguous case for the law of sines.

2.  Here is the repost of the worksheets for the CC3 Triangles Skills Prep and key.  This was to help you review how to use the calculator, use the pythagorean theorem, and identify the opposite, adjacent, and hypotenuse of the triangle.
 
3.  CC3 Active Practice 1 with Key.  These are the problems from this unit for you to work on.  It has the three different levels so you know what to expect on the CC3 test.

Here are the resources for CC1 we are currently in the first learning target that covers parallel lines cut by a transversal and the angle relationships that are formed.  Remember to use color to help with seeing the relationships!

Here also is a pretty good example of the angle addition postulate.  Its a clear but kinda boring but his visual is good.
