Prepare for your Final Project that will take place during the week of June 11-15. Attached is the project description and sample annotated bibliography - one is one of my own from graduate school using APA Format and the other sample is a MLA format - you can use either. English classes traditional use MLA and social studies often uses APA (depending on the professor).  You must turn in a hard copy of your Bibliography on the day of your presentation. Also due to some recent internet wireless problems, make sure you have a copy of your Documentary (if you are producing one) on a flash drive.

Follow the guidelines and try to time yourself and stick to the 60 minutes time limit (15 to 20 minutes prep 45-40 minutes for writing). The essay must be handwritten in pen. Remember to label your HAPPy analysis and "OE" for Outside Evidence on the margin of your essay. There is no graphic organizer but I would recommend accomplishing the same task on a sheet of lined paper in a condensed and more efficient format. See the attached writing guide, rubric, and notes from the last DBQ if you need specific examples of successful HAPPy.
