SPANISH II (9, 10, 11, 12) One Year Prerequisite: Students need to earn a C or better in both semesters of Fulfills UC/CSU Requirements: YES – Subject Area – E Spanish I.Note: This course is not recommended by the department of modern languages for students with Spanish language background or for those previously in the Immersion Program.Course Description: This course is designed to supplement and reinforce the first level. The student begins a more intensive study of the grammar and culture of Spanish-speaking people. Communicative proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing is the goal for all students

8 WEEKS GRADING PERIOD GROUP PRESENTATION
- Create a presentation using PowerPoint or Google Slides for your topic. Also, add two other slides, one for cover with your topic, date, period, group member’s full names, group number, and the other one for resources used.
- Each group member MUST create and present 8 slides for Spanish 2; and 10 for Native speakers and AP classes according to your Spanish level; and present them without reading or using any notes or flashcards. One student must put all the slides together to complete the project and e-mail it.
- Each group MUST write a summary in Spanish of one page minimum of their presentation, one sentence per slide, and turn it into Mr. Rodríguez before presenting.
- Make sure that each member practices presenting in an articulate manner as prescribed by the attached rubric. Download and print the attached Rubric.
- The project due date is Friday, October 7th at 7:00 A. M. NO LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED.
- Each project MUST be submitted via Google Docs by choosing “share with” [email protected] in the following format: Civilizaciones pre-colombinas P # G #.
- To type Spanish characters on the Chromebooks go into settings and change the keyboard setting to usintl. After enabling this "right alt + the letter/character that you want modified will add an accent mark or an upside down question mark/exclamation point.
