Now that you've learned how Galileo used the scientific method to ascertain that Jupiter had moons, let's look at his story in a different way!  Attached is the template for a comic book/ storyboard/ graphic novel page.  If Galileo had communicated his process for discovering the Galilean Moons of Jupiter, what do you think it would look like?  NOTE:  Each cell will have an illustration plus at LEAST one line of text in it.  Read the instructions at the top of this document for more information.

Also attached is our google slides presentation of comic book pages to give you ideas of what it could/ should look like.

Create a glossary in your Science Notebook for the attached file of Night Sky Vocabulary terms.  This will be Activity #30 in your notebook!  Use your notes, the textbook or the internet for term definition.

If you use the internet for the terms, make sure to use the astronomy-appropriate description or definition, NOT the general description.  For example, "zenith" can be either "
the highest point reached by a celestial or other object." OR "
the time at which something is most powerful or successful."  Use the astronomic definition!  8-)

One other thing - don't lose this vocabulary block!  You will be cutting it apart to create a word map on Tuesday.
