One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest Reading Schedule
This is a rough schedule of the pace for reading OFOTCN. I understand the pace is quick but this is roughly the pace the other English 11 classes have been following. To be successful in this unit, you will need to stay on top of the reading. As you read, you should be taking notes or using post-its to mark specific passages in the text that help you understand the major themes we will be discussing. There will be a Socratic Seminar and an essay at the end of the unit. The more quality notes you take, the better you will do on both these tasks.
All dates are when the section should be READ BY:
Friday, May 6: pgs. 1-42
Monday, May 9: pgs. 42-69
Wednesday, May 11: pgs. 70-91
Friday, May 13: pgs. 92-111
Monday, May 16: pgs. 112-137
Thursday, May 19: pgs. 138-173
Monday, May 23: pgs. 174-190
