A few words about the effort from some of you in class.
As stated in class there needs to be a little more work understanding the material on your part. If you can't solve a problem look to the answer sheet provided to help give you some clues as how to proceed. If that doesn't help by all means come to see me for additional help or like we did in class today we went over some of the problems that you had questions with. You should be doing some kind of math review EVERYDAY.

1.) Got a calendar to please plan and schedule when you are going to study for the final. Remember as stated last week in class you will take the first round of the final before Winter Break. So plan it out and do not cram the day before the test because it will not work.
2.) In class you got a factoring worksheet please do as much as you need depending on your level of need to review factoring.
3.) Polynomial sketching worksheet these are modeled off the problems you got in class. If there are somethings that don't make sense please review your notes and if that doesn't still doesn't help be ready to ask me a question in class. Update to your Mastery Check B it will be given this Thursday and the focus is on CC 2. On Friday those of you who want to retest CC 1 can take it on the first half of Friday while everyone else is doing error analysis.
As for the piecewise homework that you have had over the last couple of days it is posted here with the answers. To study for the assessment please look back to all the old homework.

As you know 5 week progress reports were based off the of the quick check and will be changed as soon as this mastery check is given on Thursday. You will have opportunities to change the grade throughout the year the final change will be during the final. So don't worry about the current grade too much since it will change. The better question is whether you have gotten better understanding the material now than you did back in the day.
1. As you all know your Mastery Check for your grade is on Thursday. Please prepare questions as well as practice not only for understanding but also to be able to do the problems efficiently, which means be able to work out problems fairly quickly.
