Regular Biology (Period 5) Assignments

Final Exam: Covers Chapters 1-7

Review lessons on all chapters have been added to Odyssey to help you review for your Final Exam.  Please use them!  Remember that the Final will cover chapters #1-7, but NOT the unit on photosynthesis and cellular respiration in chapters 8 and 9.

Your Egg lab report is due on Tuesday, January 13.  NO late reports accepted!

Study Guide due

Your final exam study guide is due today - January 6.  Make sure that it is completed and has your name on it.  The guide will be collected and returned to you later this week.

TEST on chapter 7-1, 7-2, 7-4 is Wednesday, 12/17.  Remember that this is a full day.

Study guide is due 12/16.  You received it in class on 12/8.

The Cell Craft worksheet will be checked in class on Monday.  Finish it at home if you did not do so in class on Thursday.

 

Color the plant cell and animal cell pages you were given in class on Wednesday.

Keep working on your study guide and make sure you review the online sites listed.

Be sure to bring headphones to class on Thursday.  We will play a cell game in class on the computers.  If you miss class on Thursday, you can play the game at home:

 

 

The worksheets that go along with this game were handed out in class.  If you missed class, I have attached the worksheets as files. This assignment will be checked on MONDAY so you all have time to finish it.

Do the completion section (Q's 16-20) in left side and complete all of the right side of worksheet. Refer to Chapter 2 sec. 1 in textbook.

Ecology unit test is on 11/6.  Please note the change of date.  It covers all of chapters 3, 4, 5, the Odyssey lessons, the POGILS and homework, and the classwork you have completed.  Make sure that you keep up with the material and do NOT leave studying until the night before the test.

We will work on Internet lessons on cycles and perhaps a bit of Odyssey in class (using Chromebooks), so you need to bring headphones to class on Tuesday.

Finish up thru Q #18 on POGIL started in class (Energy Pyramid)

Finish answering the questions from the case study we read today in class.
