Tomorrow you will write an in-class essay on one of the prompts about the summer reading. You received the prompts today, but I am also attaching them here. Spend time thinking about the ideas you want to include in your essay, but do not write the essay ahead of time. You will want to include the quote, the author of the book, and the title in your introductory paragraph. Every student will receive 20 participation points for completing the essay. I will let you know what letter grade it earned, but that will only be for your information; it will not be entered in the grade book.
