New Semester Writing Assignment

Make a list of 20 things you did well this past semester and a list of 20 things you did NOT do well. (This can encompass all of your classes, NOT just English.

On a new sheet, using the items on these lists, write a well-developed, 5 paragraph essay, reflecting what worked well for you this past semester, and what did not work well.

Make sure to introduce your topic, include body paragraphs that clearly reflect what you did well, and what needs improvement, as well as how these improvement can be obtained. All essays also need a well-written closing paragraph that wraps up the essay.

Turn in the list stapled on TOP of the essay!
