With the opening of Copenhagen Pastry, owner Karen Hansen fulfilled her goal of bringing the very best, authentic Danish pastries to Culver City. Karen Hansen delights in providing customers with a true taste of Danish pastries like the ones she remembers from her childhood in Denmark.
Copenhagen Pastry’s chief baker hails from Denmark. He grew up in a bakery, so to speak, and learned every aspect of baking from his parents and subsequent apprenticeship and employment with some of Denmark’s finest bakeries before owning his own bakeries. He also worked as a bakery consultant prior to coming to Los Angeles in 2009.
