so many of you are confused about the details of Center place so we're going to have a Q&A what's one of Arland Creed leaders say hi  so when is Centaur Plus in effect it takes place between February to April 23rd so the ten-week period in which freshmen will be paired with certain link crew leaders and they will be assigned to certain classrooms for this one so is it everyday and what's going to be happening during these periods so it's not everyday it's just Tuesdays and Thursdays and Tuesdays are basically going to be blinker activity day so similar to the games we played during orientation is what you'll be experiencing on Tuesdays and Thursdays are really just a work day so you really need to bring that work in do you have that opportunity to finish whatever homework studying reading you have butts really important to bring that after 4th but before lunch and is included in our bell schedule so it's not an additional 50 how do you think central us will help cchs going to benefit Culver City High School students first off we have a lot of our students are not eligible for percent of our students don't even graduate high school mostly students aren't going to have time before after school or the initiative to get help this is mandatory help for those who get the most we all have so many students who are ccplus average students who could become b - B average students this program is going to shift all in the higher grade categories so to get a freshman opinion we will be talking to our fellow freshmen so Emma do you or any of your peers play peer tutoring yeah I definitely think some of my peers it's really really helpful especially like if a test is coming up and you just want to get to the material of it better definitely helps a lot of people don't attend pure tutoring mostly because they have extracurriculars outside of school are they want to do something live in school with their day and so it's kind of a lot to have like school and then go to peer tutoring and then might want to do other things besides that who sings Center plus the mandatory study hall. Will help you I definitely think it will help kids do their homework more so be more consistent like turning in homework assignments cuz they'll be able to do it during school time rather than a going home and doing it because most of the time kids won't do their homework because I want to do some house that's not boring likely to do it here also it's definitely probably an help bring up grades because you're able to study in class for different tablet if you have a test in another class that's like 4th. this experience and like you can study for that and that can definitely help you and we're going to be talking with another freshman delirious and do you have any difficulty managing time because of your extracurriculars apart from school music almost every day and that takes up a lot of time because you know I'll get home later and I'll have less time to do homework with do any chores I need to do and less time to do anything extra that I just feel like watching some TV or something like that so I manage my time but it's definitely not I don't have this much time obviously as if I didn't do that extra curriculars warning center plasma cause an increase in GPA sleep study time and decrease and stress and procrastination
