Background information

Culver City High School has been my home since 2005. I teach  Biology, Biology SDAIE and Physiology at Culver City High School. I graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a major in psychobiology. I eventually changed professions and attended Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara. I graduated from there with a degree in digital photography. The photos you see in my classroom are my images. I worked as a photographer for a few years but returned to my original passion of teaching and science. I love teaching! Although some days are more taxing, I enjoy seeing students grow into adults and it keeps me going. When I am not at school, I am busy with my two children, Jackson (born August, 2006) and Austin (born Nov. 2007) and my husband. My hobbies include SCUBA, photography (underwater is my favorite!), beach volleyball, and running. I am originally from Houston, Tx.
