WELCOME

Hi! My name is Nickté (Nick-teh) Méndez and I am excited to be a part of Culver City High School for the 2026-2027 school year! I am in my 12th year of teaching and have been at CCUSD for 9 years! 

 

My educational background is in Biology. I graduated from CSUN twice. I earned a BA in Biology and an MS in Biology, with a concentration in Ecology and Evolution. 

 

I am deeply invested in this district. My daughter attended El Rincon (Go Cougars! I know, I know) CCMS and then CCHS, class of 2019! She graduated from UCSD with a Pharmacological Chemistry B.S. She is on her way to Duke to earn a PhD in Science. We are so proud! My son is now an El Marino Dolphin and will be a future Panther and Centaur too! 

 

I am so excited to be part of your child's educational journey. I hope to make a difference in their lives just as my teachers made a difference in mine.
