I am honored to serve as CCHS's Assistant Principal over Activities, and Attendance/ Discipline (L-Z).
As a proud Centaur (class of '86), I returned to my alma mater to teach Social Studies. I taught World History, World Geography, Global Issues, Career Development, Travel, US History, Government and Economics.
Travelling the world has been one of my many passions. Learning about other people's culture intrigues me and makes me yearn for more knowledge of their backgrounds. I spent many years studying and teaching in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. During this time, I had the opportunity of travelling to
destinations throughout Europe including Lithuania - which is the land of my father's family. I spent my childhood summers in Tahiti where I started learning French. My most recent travels have taken me to Belize and its islands. I also spend many vacations in Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii where I have family.
I earned my B.A. in Political Science from the University of California at Los Angeles and my M.A.s in Computer Education and Educational Administration from Cal State University, Los Angeles. Additionally, I have taken classes at Santa Monica College, the American College of Switzerland and Loyola Marymount University.
