Hello! My name is Aravind Malla and I will be teaching Geometry and Geometry H this year. I am very excited to be entering my 10th year teaching with the Centaur family and look forward to contributing to the success of the students at Culver City high school. I grew up in Manhattan Beach where I graduated from Mira Costa high school. I went on to college at the University of California, Riverside. After I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCR, I returned to the South Bay/Los Angeles area, and enrolled at Loyola Marymount University for my graduate studies and to obtain my teaching credential. I am a very active person, I enjoy playing basketball and soccer, but my true love is surfing. Growing up in Manhattan Beach allowed me to have beach access everyday, and I have been surfing since my middle school days. Although I wish that I could meet all my students in person, I am excited about facing challenges and successes that can come along with starting the new school year in distance learning. I feel that myself and CCHS is prepared to continue our great tradition of educating our young students and helping them grow into wonderful life-long learners. This year, my classes will be run through the Canvas courses. Please use the link posted below to access my Geometry and Geometry H pages.
