Homework and study tip...

Often times students take notes in class, close their folder and never look at the notes again.  As a good practice, student should have their notes out and open while completing their homework.  Even if you believe it is the right answer, double check your understanding with your notes.  Do not simply guess at your homework.  Often times your teacher has assigned problems on the homework that can be solved by directly looking in your notes.  This is especially true for recall/DOK 1 type of problems.  For example, your teacher may have you write down a definition for a vocabulary term.  And on the homework  you may be asked to define that exact term.  If you do not know, check your notes.
Small tip from Mr. Stuckey...

Here is the second page of solutions for the notes we started in class today.  Please check your attempts.  If not, at least make sure you have this complete when returning to class tomorrow.
