Testing Day - October 30 - PSAT, PreACT & ASPIRE

11th graders only - PSAT 

PSAT will be offered to every 11th grader this school year on Wednesday, October 30 free of charge. CCUSD & CCHS are allowing every 11th grader the opportunity to sharpen their skills by practicing for the SAT as well as affording them the opportunity to become a National Merit Scholar. Based on the results, the PSAT will allow families to see AP potential for the next school year, grows and glows for the students and open up pathways for scholarships. All students are automatically registered. Testing accommodations will be given based on the information that was approved by the College Board. If you are unsure with the accommodations listed, please consult with your students case carrier. 

If your child/ children has documented testing accommodations and their information has been submitted to the College Board, the accommodations will be given to the students. If you are not sure about testing accommodations, please contact me via email joniqueburton@ccusd.org.  

10th graders only - PreACT

PreACT will be offered to every 10th grader this school year on Wednesday, October 30 free of charge. CCUSD and CCHS are allowing every 10th graders to take the opportunity to gain insights into their college and career readiness. PreACT provides early indication of progress and ideas for academic improvement and allows students to get comfortable with the test before taking the ACT. All students are automatically registered. Testing accommodations will be given to students with an IEP and 504.

9th graders only - ACT ASPIRE

ACT ASPIRE will be offered to every 9th grader this school year on Wednesday, October 30 free of charge. The ASPIRE will be administered online using the school chrome books. ACT Aspire is the first digital, longitudinal assessment system to fully connect student performance with readiness benchmarks from the elementary grades through early high school. ACT Aspire can help all your learners measure their progress toward the readiness they will need for future success, whether they transition to college or career. All students are automatically registered. Testing accommodations will be given to students with an IEP and 504.
