Marching and Concert Band (Period 6)

Course Description

The Culver City High School Centaur Marching Band performs at all football games, along with pep rallies, assemblies, and other school functions. Football season lasts until early November, depending on playoff games. The class transitions to Concert Band towards the end of football season to prepare for the Fall and Winter Concerts and subsequent performances throughout the spring. P. E. Credit is given for 9^th and 10^th graders who must take a short intensive course during 6^th period after the Winter Concert. We require additional rehearsals outside of class, especially during Marching Band season. All rehearsals and performances are an integral part of the class commitment and experience.
