One of the videos is of Robert Kennedy (who was running to win the Democratic Nomination for the 1968 Presidential Election) breaking the sad news of the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. to the people of Indianapolis. I think it is really important to hear what he says and I encourage you to read the attached transcript of his impromptu speech that night as well. 
Once you are done with the notes and video, please carefully read the attached "Civil Rights Becomes Militant DBQ" which includes two documents (a speech by Malcolm X and the Black Panther Party Ten Point Plan) and answer the questions. Hey Everyone! I hope you're all doing okay! I will not be meeting with you via Skype today (Monday, March 16th) because I will be doing things at school. However, I have posted links to (some of the) Civil Rights Music. Period 3 listened to "Strange Fruit" on Friday but I would like everyone to listen to all of the following songs using the links I've provided. As you listen to the music, please answer the attached analysis questions for each song. You will need to submit this document with your answers to me via google docs OR you can e-mail them to me as an attachment by Friday, March 20th.
