Today in the beginning of class I had you summarize all the concepts we went over for CC3.  We then went over inverse Trig and work on some basic problems, getting comfortable with using the calculator.

1.  Notes for CC3, we have been working on calculator skills and what not so I didn't want to use up all the time taking notes so I printed you each a copy of my notes.  Please annotate them as you work through the active practice packet as you refine your understanding of the topic.

 

2.  Here is the worksheets for the CC3 Triangles Skills Prep and key.  This was to help you review how to use the calculator, use the pythagorean theorem, and identify the opposite, adjacent, and hypotenuse of the triangle.

 

3.  CC3 Active Practice 1 with Key.  These are the problems from this unit for you to work on.  It has the three different levels so you know what to expect on the CC3 test.

2.  Today we covered how to find missing side lengths using proportions.  (you have to know that the triangles are similar first.  Either you prove the triangles are similar first or are told that they are similar.) The answers to the worksheets are posted here.

We are going to have a Mastery Check for CC1 and CC2 on Thursday Nov 9th.  The test will be in two parts, one with CC1 problems and the other with CC2.  Both scores on the test will replace old scores for each CC and the two new CC scores will average together to make your grade.  So start to plan out your review!  To help I gave you back your CC1 Mastery Check.

 

Quick note on the CC2 practice there is a typo and says cc4 practice, just ignore it as I will fix it later this week
