Here is the presentation and directions for our next project.  You're going to do a little Igneous Rock Hunt, create a google slide according to the directions on this presentation, and I'm going to put them all together in a class Google Slides presentation.  Rocks roll!

Each slide is worth 20 project points.  And yes, you may make more than one slide, provided that there are no duplicate rocks for the presentation.

THIS IS YOUR SPRING BREAK HOMEWORK.  Bring your notebook home, and copy all these notes into a new section, using Cornell Notes-style format.  If you do this over the break, we will have some time to do some fun activities and models after we come back!  To keep you accountable, we will be having an open-notes quiz on this chapter on the day we return.

Remember those that "block" of vocabulary terms for Rock Deformation?  You created either a glossary or flash cards for them?  Here's the next step.

On a Google Docs document, you will:

List each term and paste a pic from an online source next to it.  The pic should be an example of that term.  For example:

Deformation

Image result for rock deformation

Make the picture small enough to fit on an index card!  And the terms/pics have a couple of spaces between them so they're easy to cut out.  We're going to print these out and make a identification game of them.

NOTE:  If I print them out, they will have to be in black and white.  If you don't tell me that you're going to be printing them out yourself, I will do it for you.  Make sure to put your name in the document itself!  That way I can get yours back to you.

SHARE THE DOCUMENT WITH ME!  Title = Rock Deformation Term Pics/ YourName
