I attended Ball State University on an athletic scholarship for softball.  I earned my Bachelors Degree in Physical Education.  I continued my education at Grand Canyon University earning a Masters Degree in Education.  My experience includes middle and high school Physical Education, varsity softball Coach at Agoura High, ninth grade AVID, fitness coordinator, department chairperson, and Freshman Class Advisor. I am proud to have been elected Associated Student Body Teacher of The Year in 2011 and 2018!

I am passionate about increasing student fitness and awareness for health. I love being a Centaur and actively involved in our community! I coach my own children in softball and baseball and love spending time with my family.

I look forward to an excellent year!

To gain points this week we are asking each student to participate in a MINIMUM of 35 min cardiovascular workout each day. Then provide a brief explanation of the exercises you performed at your house. You may follow along to your favorite Youtube activities for ideas. (teen yoga, yoga for anxiety, meditation, hip hop fitness routine, circuit training, full body workout from home using your body weight) or you may choose to jog, walk, skate, and be active outside. Stay healthy and don't forget to take deep yoga breaths throughout the day to increase your oxygen flow. Oxygen rich blood will elevate your immune system. You all know how to be healthy, just make good choices with water intake, and dark leafy vegetables.

Allison Goldsmith, Natalie Capa win the plank contest with 3 minutes.  They could have gone longer.  Travis Garland lasted 2 minutes 30 seconds

Liz Greenberger speaks about her RowLA program that assists female students in getting into Rowing in College.  Culver High students have earned athletic scholarships through this program.
