Hola! My name is Stacey Harding (Maestra Jardín) and I am teaching AP Spanish, Spanish 4, and Spanish 2 this year at CCHS. I have been a teacher since 2003, when I started teaching ESL in the Czech Republic. I went on to teach for two years in Spain and came back to LA in 2006 to pursue my teaching credential and Masters Degree. I have been teaching Spanish ever since, mostly in South LA. Spain is and will always be my home away from home and I try and visit every two years. I have family in Santander and the best soccer team in the world is in Barcelona! Aside from Spain, I have traveled to many countries as I try and leave the US at least once a year. However, there is no place like LA and I wouldn’t call any other place home. I grew up in Santa Monica playing basketball and soccer and I have lived in Culver City for the past 6 years. I don’t see myself anywhere else! Stop by my room to talk about my two greatest passions: Spanish soccer and Spanish accentuation rules. My favorite player of all time is Puyol so bonus points if you know who that is.
