Culver City High School is an engaged and caring academic community where diversity is valued and respected. We are committed to educating and inspiring all students to become life-long learners and contributing members of our global society.

The Academy of Visual and Performing Arts is a four-year program that incorporates intensive studies in Visual Arts, Film & Video Production, Theatre and Music.  Students take advanced level classes after school, many for college credit, in their major.  The courses combined with a rigorous production schedule provide a balance between hands-on and academic training.  Students get a chance to practice their craft alongside motivated and talented peers and qualified professional teachers, designers, directors, actors, musicians and artists.
